Circle is set to launch its USDC stablecoin on the Sui network, expanding support to over 15 blockchain networks. The native integration will be powered by the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), enabling seamless transfers of USDC between different blockchains through burning and minting mechanisms. This launch aims to boost Sui’s usability, security, and interoperability, giving developers and users easy access to USDC, one of the most trusted digital currencies. Launched in 2023, Sui is a layer-1 blockchain designed to optimize the creation of Web3 applications using its Move programming language for parallel transaction execution.
