Upbit Partners With Dunamu to Sponsor Italian Football Club Napoli SSC

Dunamu, a South Korean fintech business, is the new jersey sponsor of the Italian football team Napoli SSC. The logo of the company’s cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, will feature on the back of the Partenopei jerseys, just below the player’s number.

According to a press release issued by Dunamu on Jan. 3, the Upbit logo will be featured on the back of the Napoli jersey for all games, including those played in the Coppa Italia and the Serie A.

In addition, as part of the sponsorship agreement, the company’s brand will be shown on advertising boards located all around the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples, Italy.

Tommaso Bianchini, Chief International Development Officer of SSC Napoli, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Upbit to our family and look forward to working together to expand our presence in South Korea.”

He went on to say that the deal also reaffirms the football club’s devotion to worldwide markets and the most cutting-edge technology, with the intention of further enhancing our brand on a global scale.

Upbit is a crypto-asset exchange that is operated by Dunamu, a company that is primarily involved in asset management and investment. In December of 2018, the Blockchain Transparency Institute ranked Upbit as the third biggest exchange in the world based on trading volume. Additionally, Upbit has gained certificates from well-known worldwide organizations that are active in the area of internal information security.

Dunamu said:

“We are very grateful for the welcome received and we are thrilled to embark on this journey together with SSC Napoli, where South Korean defender Kim Minjae plays, among others.”
