Sony Block Solutions Labs (Sony BSL) launched the Soneium Minato public testnet and Soneium Spark incubator on August 28. Developed by Sony subsidiary Startale Labs, the Soneium blockchain aims to advance Web3. Soneium Spark offers developers up to $100,000 in investment and support from Sony, Astar Network, and other partners. Notable collaborators include Optimism, The Graph, and Chainlink. Sony’s move marks its boldest venture into Web3 yet.
