Kraken has successfully acquired Coin Meester B.V. (BCM), one of the Netherlands' oldest crypto brokers, marking a significant step in its European expansion strategy. With this move, Kraken enhances its presence in the Dutch market and expands its Virtual Asset Service Provider operations in France and Poland. The acquisition aligns with Kraken’s strategy to grow in Europe ahead of the upcoming Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). BCM clients will gain access to over 200 digital assets, robust security features, and 24/7 local-language support. Kraken aims to increase its market share by combining global scale with superior client experiences.
