Do Kwon, the controversial creator of Terra, has said that the allegations that have been brought against him by South Korean prosecutors are not legal and are driven by politics.
Kwon made these remarks in his most recent interview with Laura Shin for the UnChained podcast. He was commenting on the entire scandal that has surrounded him ever since the failure of his project earlier this year.
Kwon also stated that they have currently made a request to check on the status of the red notice, but as far as he understands it, it is not an international arrest warrant.
He said that they are rather dissatisfied with the manner that prosecutors are trying to enact new laws via criminal court processes, as opposed to the legislature or, at the very least, the financial regulators, who should be in charge of doing so.
“The second point of clarification is that since the end of last year, I haven’t been living in South Korea. So it wouldn’t be accurate to say the order is about me returning to South Korea. The more accurate point would be would I travel to South Korea,” says Kwon
Kwon emphasized the fact that he had not been residing in South Korea since the end of the previous year and said that it is not correct to say that he would not be traveling back to the country in the near future. He went on to suggest that a more appropriate question would be whether or not he would visit South Korea.
Do Kwon seems to be discreet in asking him where he is. He said that the issue is that he doesn’t want others to speculate about where he has been living and in what nation. “”The easier I make it for people to figure out my location, the harder it is for me to continue my regular life.”
