Latest Developments from Ripple
Ripple, currently on tour in Japan and Korea, announced three key developments to strengthen the foundations of crypto infrastructure and thereby support blockchain utility and usability.
Elaborating on the updates, the partnership between AI and Metaverse tech company Futureverse and Ripple Custody has been highly appreciated. The tech company has already adopted the XRPL NFT standard and uses XRP as a transaction token on the Root Network. Additionally, it is integrated with the XRPL DEX to supply network liquidity.
The integration between Ripple and the broader XRP community shows Ripple’s commitment to the XRPL’s growth, especially in facilitating applications and smart contracts based on a planned XRPL EVM sidechain. The XRPL EVM sidechain will bring new programmability to the XRPL dev ecosystem in 2025.
