Gnosis Taps Chainlink’s CCIP and Automation for Next-Gen On-Chain Applications

Gnosis has  integrated with Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Automation into its mainnet. This recent integration has built Gnosis’s previous incorporation of Chainlink Price Feeds, offering developers access to an extensive suite of Chainlink services. These tools provide enhanced data access, computation, and cross-chain connectivity, enabling the creation of more advanced and secure on-chain applications.

Chainlink’s CCIP is recognized as an industry-standard solution for blockchain interoperability. With CCIP now live on Gnosis, developers can build applications capable of sending messages, transferring tokens, and initiating actions across various blockchain networks. This advancement is supported by Chainlink’s Oracle infrastructure, which has facilitated over $12 trillion in on-chain transactions. Consequently, Gnosis developers are equipped to leverage this robust infrastructure for their projects.

Additionally, Chainlink Automation offers a secure, reliable, and cost-effective automation service for Web3 developers. This service provides various triggers, enabling innovative ways to connect applications on-chain.

By using Automation’s verifiable compute, developers on Gnosis can offload compute-intensive tasks to the Chainlink Network. This method upholds blockchain verifiability standards while significantly lowering gas costs by up to 90%, creating opportunities for advanced use cases.

In January, Chainlink Automation became operational on Base, offering reliable, decentralized, and gas-efficient smart contract automation features. This integration enabled Base developers to access advanced Chainlink services, such as CCIP, Data Feeds, and Automation, to build scalable applications. As a result, Gnosis developers can now access similar advanced features, supporting the creation of next-generation applications.

The general availability of Chainlink’s CCIP was announced on April 24, and several prominent platforms have already integrated this protocol. Aave uses CCIP for cross-chain transfers of its GHO stablecoin.

Metis has adopted CCIP as its standard token bridge, and WEMADE has implemented it as the exclusive cross-chain infrastructure on its WEMIX3.0 mainnet. Hence, the integration of CCIP and Automation into Gnosis is a strategic move, aligning with industry trends and enhancing Gnosis’s development capabilities.
