ARCHAX, the first FCA-regulated digital asset exchange, has expanded its tokenized fund share offering with the BlackRock ICS US Treasury money market fund in collaboration with the HBAR Foundation. This comes after the deployment of tokenized access to Abrdn’s MMFs on the Hedera and Ethereum blockchains last year.
HBAR’s price has risen due to the platform’s emphasis on Real World Assets (RWA). The Hedera network, developed for institutional RWA tokenization, has made tremendous progress in asset management. Archax, Ownera, and The HBAR Foundation have allowed the first tokenization of BlackRock’s MMF on the Hedera platform.
Graham Rodford, Archax’s CEO and co-founder, emphasized the necessity of providing a wide range of money market funds to meet the diverse demands of its clients. He added more funds to Archax’s portfolio of tokenized MMF offers, broadening the alternatives and catering to a broader variety of potential clients. This variety enables Archax to meet the different demands of its clients.
In today’s high-interest rate climate, it is more crucial than ever to put cash, treasury, and stablecoin assets to work. MMFs are a beneficial vehicle because they have the potential to provide institutional stability and income through their underlying investments in short-term debt instruments and decrease counterparty risk for a single bank or stablecoin provider.
According to Ami Ben David, CEO of Ownera, a simple Ownera Buy-Side Router allows banks, wealth managers, asset managers, broker-dealers, RIAs, and exchanges to route transactions to Archax’s tokenized MMFs. This effort intends to establish a worldwide institutional tokenized asset ecosystem that provides market-wide access, distribution, and liquidity. MMFs are especially prevalent in the Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization market, which serves both traditional finance and pure cryptocurrency.
Money Market Funds (MMFs) are a secure, liquid, and consistent investment choice for funds conservation and cash management. They provide institutional stability and return, making them an excellent supplement to Real Estate Wealth Management (RWA). Tokenized MMFs let users trade shares on exchanges such as Archax, which provides faster transfers and collateral deployment.
