Yuga Labs’ latest Sewer Pass release reportedly blacklists Blur, Sudoswap, LooksRare, and NFTX. The reported reason is the new OpenSea royalty standard. As the Sewer Pass began to MINT, the transaction volume soared to over 6840 ETH. Its floor price at press time is 1.17 ETH.
A Sewer Pass contract assesses if or not NFTs can be transferred via the _beforeTokenTransfer function. The _beforeTokenTransfer function “checks if or not the sender is ‘valid’ or an ‘allowed operator,’” states Simon Cousaert, Director (Data), TheBlock.

Yuga Labs, apart from blacklisting Blur, has also reportedly blacklisted LooksRare, SudoSwap, and NFTX, per Simon Cousaert. Market experts see royalty war emerging.
Simon tweeted:
Wow not only is Yuga Labs blacklisting Blur they have also blacklisted LooksRare, SudoSwap, and NFTX. Royalty war is heating up. https://t.co/afAnovk9ND pic.twitter.com/UEd3dtw0w4

Simon states the non-valid addresses on the BlockList Registry are Blur, LooksRare, Sudoswap and NFTX. Reading Yuga Labs’ Sewer Pass, Azuki co-founder, going with the pseudonym location tba, also tweeted:
Was taking a read through @yugalabs Sewer Pass contract, and saw that it's referencing a contract that was deployed a week ago. The contract is labeled as a Registry and there's a bunch of transactions adding to the blocklist. Presumably one of the addresses is @blur_io

Yuga Labs’ Sewer Pass contract reveals a reference to a recently-deployed contract. Labeled as a Registry, the contract has a couple of transactions filling up the blocklist. Transactional address is also reportedly presumed to be from Blur. location tba curiously awaits the response of Blur. Ethereum link to the contract is https://etherscan.io/address/0x849b59222d093011726d829475C81C79F90ed932#code
location tba tweets:
It will be interesting to see if/how @blur_io responds. This seems to be the first time that a large legacy player, that has been unable or unwilling to modify existing contracts to enforce royalties, has deployed a new contract for a significant mint

Yuga Labs’ Sewer Pass NFT collection has reportedly amassed $6 million (4000 ETH) in sales within hours. As for the unregistered offerings probe by the SEC against an alleged breach by Yuga Labs of federal securities laws, Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC has notified investors of Yuga Labs, Inc. investigation.
