Kakarot has introduced zkEVM, a platform that empowers teams to construct and release EVM applications. The developers could deploy any Solidity or EVM-compatible language on Kakarot, similar to the process on Ethereum or Polygon. The Kakarot project has recently announced its plans to enable interoperability with native Starknet protocols and promote composability between protocols. According to the project’s blog, the movies would allow for the combination of TVL in DeFi and the user base in GameFi.
The startup has revealed its roadmap and outlined that Kakarot would first be established as an EVM on Starknet L2. The lab revealed that Phase 1 aims to introduce EVM to Starknet, enabling developers to create and launch EVM applications effortlessly. In a groundbreaking development, the latest update has unlocked many opportunities and broadened the horizons of the Starknet ecosystem.
It was reported that Kakarot, the zkEVM development platform, has successfully concluded its Pre-Seed financing round. Notable investors such as StarkWare, LambdaClass, and angel investors Vitalik, Nicolas Bacca, and Rand Hindi, among others, have participated in this investment.
The implementation of Kakarot zkEVM by Cairo has been making waves in the world of blockchain technology. This innovative EVM utilizes STARK proofs to provide security and transparency to transactions and blocks. It has been revealed that the development of Kakarot zkEVM is being carried out in a three-stage process, and EVM has been established on Starknet L2.
