Kraken Takes Crypto to the Fast Lane: Bitcoin Whitepaper Excerpt on Williams Racing Cars

Kraken, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, is taking crypto to the fast lane with its latest move in the motorsports industry. The exchange has partnered with Williams Racing, a British Formula 1 team, to become its first official crypto and Web3 partner.

As part of this partnership, Kraken has decided to place the opening excerpt of the nine-page Bitcoin whitepaper on the nose cone of the Williams Racing car that will be competing at the Australian Grand Prix.

This strategic move by Kraken aims to raise the profile of the crypto ecosystem in a sport that draws 1.6 billion viewers across 20 countries worldwide. It will also give fans a chance to learn more about Bitcoin and its underlying technology, blockchain.

According to Kraken’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mayur Gupta, featuring the Bitcoin whitepaper on the Williams Racing car is a symbol of the exchange’s belief and commitment to the crypto mission. Gupta said that this move is an opportunity to showcase the original document that brought the entire movement to life through a sport that is loved by millions of fans worldwide.

Kraken’s branding will also appear on the rear wing of the Williams cars, driver’s suits, and caps for the remainder of this year’s F1 World Championship Season, which began earlier this month and continues through November with races across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

In addition to featuring the Bitcoin whitepaper on the Williams Racing car, Kraken is also planning to give selected Kraken NFT holders a chance to see their digital collectibles displayed on the rear wing of the car. This move is expected to further promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology to a wider audience.
