Nadeem Anjarwalla, Binance's Regional Manager for Africa, has reportedly escaped detention in Abuja, Nigeria, where he and Tigran Gambaryan, the exchange's head of financial crime compliance, were being held. According to an update from Sahara Reporters, Anjarwalla's escape occurred during a visit to a mosque for Ramadan prayers. He is said to have departed the country on a Middle Eastern airline, utilizing his British and Kenyan citizenship to evade detection.
