Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer of Bitwise, noted a significant rise in crypto investments among top financial advisors. At the recent Barron's Advisor 100 Summit, Hougan highlighted that around 70% of advisors now own Bitcoin or other digital assets in their personal portfolios, a steep increase from the 10%-20% seen two years ago. While many advisors haven't yet introduced crypto into client accounts, Hougan predicts that growing personal allocations could lead to a broader shift in client portfolios within the next 6 to 12 months. This trend suggests an increasing acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the traditional financial sector.
