As BTC’s price fluctuated, the crypto futures market experienced a loss of over $500 million in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin touched $68k and then experienced a decline to $64,500 before surging to the $66,000 mark. This caused turmoil in the market and led to potential price volatility. Both long-term and short-term betting on higher and lower prices suffered a loss of $240 million and $ 320 million. Across multiple exchanges, cryptocurrency futures tracking meme coins, such as $DOGE, $SHIB, and $PEPE, lost a total of $90 million.
