According to Lookonchain monitoring, three hackers deposited a total of 17,800 ETH (around $42.7 million) into Tornado Cash within three days. Among them, the Penpie hacker transferred 9,600 ETH ($23 million), while the WazirX hacker added 7,200 ETH ($17.3 million). Another hacker, responsible for stealing $42 million from Fenbushi Capital founder Shen Bo, deposited 1,000 ETH ($2.4 million). These transactions highlight the ongoing use of Tornado Cash for obfuscating stolen assets in the crypto space, raising concerns about its role in laundering large amounts of Ethereum.
