Indodax Hit with $22 Million Loss Due to Major Exploit

Indodax, Indonesia’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has suffered a major security breach, resulting in losses of approximately $20.5 million. Blockchain security firm SpotonChain reported large cryptocurrency outflows, with $14.4 million moved to suspicious addresses and swapped into Ether (ETH). PeckShield identified remaining stolen assets, including 5,584 ETH, 16.7M TRX, 25 BTC, and 6.84 million POL. Indodax has taken its web and mobile platforms offline for investigation and maintenance.
