Metaplanet, a Japanese company, has acquired an additional ¥500 million in Bitcoin, boosting its total holdings to approximately 303 BTC, valued at around ¥2.95 billion. This new purchase represents 14.5% of Metaplanet's market cap. Alongside this, Metaplanet plans to issue 10 billion yen in convertible bonds and has secured a 1 billion yen loan at a 0.1% interest rate. This strategic move is part of their broader plan to expand and strengthen their financial position.
