Japanese investment firm Metaplanet has purchased an additional 108.78 Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to nearly 640 BTC and boosting its stock price by over 10%. This acquisition, valued at approximately $6.92 million, follows a week of aggressive buying, totaling more than 215 BTC. On October 7, Metaplanet's shares surged over 11% hitting an intraday high of 1,047 Japanese yen. Since its adoption as a treasury reserve in May 2024, Bitcoin stock has tripled.
