The latest edition of The Shib Magazine spotlights exciting projects within the Shib ecosystem. This includes a comic book featuring Shiboshi NFTs, a DeFi project on Shibarium called K9 Finance, and a charitable initiative named Tutti Frutti Women (TFW).
The Shiba Inu ecosystem is creating ripples in the market with its trailblazing initiatives. Dark Flower, a comic book writer and visionary has recently launched a project titled “Shiboshis: The Beginning”. This new comic book doesn’t just feature characters based on the Shiba Inu universe but it incorporates the unique Shiboshi NFTs as central characters.
Dark Flower believes that NFTs have the potential to revolutionize storytelling. He said,
I was sharing my thoughts about the comic book with some of the Shib community [members] and tried to find an artist to help me but I couldn’t find one in the Shib Army at that time. But for me, the support I got from Lucie after I shared with her the comic book idea was great, so thank you, Lucie.
K9 Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) project built on Shibarium, has unveiled a three-phase roadmap for launching a liquid staking derivative product. K9 Finance is also committed to fostering a thriving developer community within the Shibarium ecosystem.
While not directly affiliated with the core Shib projects, The Shib magazine also highlighted Tutti Frutti Women (TFW) in their latest edition. TFW is a non-profit organization that uses NFTs to support cancer warriors. They have raised funds for cancer research and provided support to cancer patients.
Since its expansion to Shibarium in January 2024, TFW has made significant progress by minting NFTs, burning $SHIB and financially supporting warriors and supporters alike. Notably, TFW’s milestone achievements are marked by supporting a warrior, unlocking rewards for holders, and initiating burns and staking mechanisms at key intervals.
