From music artists to bodybuilders, several top personalities have been expressing their interest in the famous meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu. One of the earliest celebrities to express his interest in Shiba Inu was Nick Carter, a member of the popular boy band, Backstreet Boys.
Carter began discussing SHIB in April 2021 and even tweeted about the token, asking for an explanation of what it is. Following comprehensive research on crypto, he later revealed that SHIB is one of his four new favorite crypto assets.
American bodybuilder and actor Kai Greene also indicated his interest in Shiba Inu a month after Carter. Greene relentlessly talked about the asset, even anointing himself “King Kai, the Guardian of Shiba Inu and the ShibArmy.” He forecasted an ambitious price target for SHIB when the token witnessed an astronomical rise to $0.0000178.
Antonio Brown, an American former professional football player, also showed an interest in SHIB back in May 2021. He asserted that SHIB would become the next Dogecoin regarding price action.
Even American rapper and actor Tracy “Ice-T” Marrow has advocated for SHIB in 2021. He was noticed in a video with Chicago-based crypto influencer Shib Diggity calling investors’ interest to SHIB.
As for how SHIB is doing right now, despite a subdued price action in recent weeks, trading around 35% higher since the beginning of the year, the cryptocurrency’s near-term technical outlook appears to support a bullish breakout. An ascending triangle structure is currently forming, which often signals a bullish price trend. The famous meme token was worth $0.000010964116 at press time.
