According to a blog post published today, the Shiba Inu development team will host the official burn portal as part of the project’s decentralized exchange (DEX), ShibaSwap, breaking ties with Ryoshi Vision.
According to the blog post, the developers are also working on an additional burn utility mechanism, which will be introduced alongside the upcoming Layer-2 network Shibarium. Shiba Inu will inform its users about the mechanics of the reward system.
Ryoshi Vision was initially responsible for overseeing the SHIB burn portal and distributing rewards to participants.
The inefficiency of the burn portal to distribute rewards has been the source of several complaints from both the Ryoshi and SHIB communities. Shiba Inu stated that all attempts to contact the Ryoshi Vision team to resolve the issue were futile.
To no avail, the originating Ryoshi Vision developers only showcased complete silence and stopped attending to any of our requests. One of them in the entire process showed up and promised to work on things, to then never return communication and leave our team pending.
said the blog post.
After facing such harsh communication issues, the Shiba Inu team has decided to cut ties with Ryoshi Vision (RYOSHI), implying that it will no longer rely on collaboration with the project to deploy the reward system.
Shiba Inu also confirms that the official SHIB Burn Portal will now be powered by Shiba Inu’s internal development team, who are already working on additional burn utility mechanics.
The teams also note that Ryoshi Vision has never been part of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem but is an independent crypto project honoring Ryoshi Research, our founder, and the SHIB community.
The team confirmed that they would be releasing a second blog post to increase transparency about how the site’s mechanics and reward system will work in the future, along with informing the ShibArmy about the delivery of backlogged rewards.
