With zkLogin, users can enter the Sui ecosystem by authenticating themselves through their existing accounts on platforms such as Google, Facebook, Twitch, and other third-party providers.
Sui plans to extend this integration to include major platforms like Microsoft, Apple, WeChat, and Amazon in the near future. This empowers users to access decentralized applications (dApps) seamlessly, employing their familiar social media accounts, and eliminating the need for complex wallet installations and seed phrase management.

At its core, zkLogin leverages zero-knowledge proof technology, which allows a user to prove the validity of an assertion without divulging sensitive information beyond the fact that the assertion is true. By combining zk-SNARKs and JSON Web Tokens, zkLogin on Sui enables users to verify their identity and wallet ownership without disclosing the actual credentials required to access their accounts.
