In a recent Medium blog post, XRP Name Service announced the .xrp domains’ official launch date is set to February 22. Poised to “Unleashing the Power of Decentralized Identity,”
xrp domains is a new feature set to
Revolutionize the way individuals and businesses establish their online identities in the XRP ecosystem.
Starting February 22nd, 2023, users can register and manage unique domain names of their liking within the XRP ecosystem. Announcing the XRP Name Service launch date, xns.xrp tweeted:
Poised to launch as an XLS20 token, the plan is to “later port XRP Domains to XRP-EVM side-chain.” Doing so would facilitate leveraging the incumbent developer community and EVM ecosystem (to boost the development of innovative XRP use cases).
The wait is over! #XRPDomains is officially launching on February 22nd.

XRP domains shall reportedly support custom data fields, to support information storage, viz. “website link, social media handles, and contact information.” As a result, users would be able to share their online identity and information in a decentralized and secure manner.
The launch of XRP Domains would let users develop personal or business websites via a unique .xrp.page domain. With the .xrp.page domain, users host diverse content types (a blog, personal portfolio, or online store). These domains would be “easily shared with others via a simple link.” The .xrp.page domain can be likened to the linktree-style links (with XRP’s security and decentralization).
The XNS team is hyped to launch .xrp domains. The team says,
it’s gonna be lit!
Better mark your calendar dates to own those lit .xrp domains in time. Make those .eth domain holders jealous with your decentralized digital .xrp identity. In related XRP news, XRP bulls are reportedly targeting $0.400353 (per PricePredictions AI) for February 1, as the SEC vs. Ripple case nears its conclusion.
