The merger, approved on February 15, 2024, aims to establish Asia’s largest Web3 governance platform. This collaboration, officially unveiled on August 29, 2024, coincides with the recent merger of Kaia and Finschia, a blockchain platform developed by Line Tech Plus, a subsidiary of the Japanese messaging giant Line.

The partnership between HashKey and Kaia aims to strengthen digital finance, content creation, and security. Kaia’s Ethereum Virtual Machine-based layer-1 blockchain, founded by Kakao and Line, two leading Asian social messaging platforms, will be integrated.
