Coinbase Wallet Updates on August’s Wrap-Up

Coinbase Wallet, a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, releases regular updates and additions of new features. It just posted its monthly Wallet Wrap-Up, in which it highlights the brand-new features and upgrades that were pushed out in August, such as supporting Solana and bridging assets.

Users of the Coinbase Wallet can now purchase ETH, MATIC, and USDC directly on Polygon, and they can buy USDC directly on Solana. This makes it simpler for users to participate in gaming, DeFi, and other activities across many networks.

The second feature that Coinbase Wallet highlights is something that the company refers to as “Multichain without the pain.” This feature makes it simpler to go from point A to point B inside web3. Coinbase Wallet users now have the ability to bridge Ethereum and Polygon transactions straight inside the wallet.

The self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet now supports Solana dApps, allowing users to investigate further into the Solana ecosystem of DeFi, gaming, and cryptocurrency utilities by using the Coinbase Wallet extension.

Integrations of web3-based games is yet another feature they’ve added. Web3 games such as Star Atlas, Era7: Game of Truth, and Elpis Battle are now available for anyone to play.

The Coinbase Wallet is a piece of software that facilitates self-custody for cryptocurrencies and is supplied by Coinbase. Both a mobile app and an extension for the Chrome browser are available.

It is compatible with a broad variety of blockchain networks, including as Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ripple, among others, and supports all of the EVM-compatible networks. The wallet provides a high level of protection for the user’s assets and is compatible with hundreds of different currencies and decentralized applications.
