Ethereum ETFs Witnesses Negative Inflows Three Days Straight

On July 26, the Ethereum spot ETFs saw notable net outflows, portraying a broader trend of investor withdrawal. Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust ETF witnessed an outflow of $356 million in a single day, contributing to a total net outflow of $163 million. In contrast, BlackRock’s ETF ETHA reported an inflow of $87.2178 million. 

The Ethereum market has had notable changes, as evidenced by substantial net outflows from Ethereum ETFs. Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust ETF has reached a historic net outflow of $1.514 billion. This was marked by an outflow of $356 million on July 26 alone, emphasizing the market’s volatility.

Besides, the total net outflow of Ethereum spot ETFs on July 26 amounted to $163 million. This figure reflects a broader trend of investor withdrawal from these financial instruments. However, not all ETFs saw outflows; for instance, Grayscale’s mini ETF ETH had an inflow of $44.9426 million, and BlackRock’s ETF ETHA recorded an inflow of $87.2178 million.

Additionally, data from SoSoValue highlights the scale of trading activity and changes in net asset value. The total value traded for Ethereum ETFs on July 26 was $933.86 million. The daily net inflow was -$162.67 million, and the cumulative total net inflow was -$341.35 million. Moreover, the total net assets of Ethereum ETFs stood at $9.24 billion, representing 2.36% of the Ethereum market cap.

On the same day, Lookonchain reported that nine Bitcoin ETFs had a net inflow of 630 BTC, equivalent to $42.56 million. Conversely, nine Ethereum ETFs experienced a net outflow of 37,044 ETH, worth $120.36 million. Grayscale’s outflow of 97,391 ETH, valued at $316.4 million, was a significant contributor to these figures.

Moreover, Spot On Chain detailed the weekly ETF activities, noting that 10 Bitcoin ETFs saw a total inflow of $535 million over the week. In contrast, Ethereum ETFs saw a total outflow of $342 million, with outflows on three out of four trading days. Grayscale’s substantial outflow of $356 million on July 26 was a notable highlight.

Per the pricing data from CoinGecko at press time, ETH was trading at $3,272.51 with a daily trading volume of $11,936,464,464. This indicates a 0.90% price increase from the previous. However, it was a 6.15% price dip in the past week.
