HashKey’s Strategic Move into Ireland

HashKey Group is a global crypto services provider that is leveraging Ireland’s friendly legal architecture as part of its growth plan. This approval was described by the organization as significant, noting that it will help strengthen the organization’s presence in the international markets. The VASP license enables HashKey to offer custodial wallet services, crypto-to-crypto and fiat-to-crypto exchanges, and digital asset transfers for third parties.

Ireland’s Central Bank states that all entities facilitating virtual asset issuance must hold VASP registration. This permit follows the EU’s implementation of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation on December 30, 2024. MiCA gives crypto service providers a three-month reminder to fully comply, aiming to improve the security and operating standards across the EU market.
