The cryptocurrency community waits in anticipation as the world’s largest Bitcoin gathering commences on May 27 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Conference Center. The event will witness prominent members and investors marking their attendance. Also, over 30,000 Bitcoin enthusiasts are expected, and nearly 5,000 firms are expected to participate.
Organizers confirmed the presence of over 400 speakers for this year’s event, and the agenda includes topics on Bitcoin Layer 2 technology and BTCfi ecosystems. Analysts also expect major announcements, possible policy shifts, and new partnerships from crypto and fintech leaders.
Among the speakers is U.S. Vice President JD Vance, addressing attendees during the “Code + Country” segment on May 28. Vance becomes the first sitting U.S. vice president to speak publicly at a Bitcoin event, and his speech would focus on innovation, financial freedom, and Bitcoin’s future in America.
Vice President Vance has long criticized regulatory overreach by U.S. agencies. He argued that open-source money protects personal freedoms and encourages innovation. His stance has drawn attention, especially after Canada’s 2022 financial controls targeting protesters. Vance emphasized that Bitcoin helps prevent such state control.
Apart from Vance, other prominent speakers include Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Senator Cynthia Lummis, and Strategy founder Michael Saylor. Also, Gemini founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss will attend. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce are also part of the lineup.
Nigel Farage, known for leading Brexit, will also join the conference and participate in a fireside chat with Bitcoin Magazine’s Frank Corva. Further, Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht is scheduled to appear virtually, while Vivek Ramaswamy is also expected to attend.

At the event, a total of 4,000 limited-edition Bolt Cards will be issued, wherein each card pays tribute to Bitcoin figures like Satoshi Nakamoto and Jack Dorsey. The Official Bitcoin Magazine Store is another big attraction. Visitors can buy Bitcoin-themed items at a 21% discount with the Lightning Network. Merchandise includes hardware wallets, clothing, books, and collectibles.
Conference sponsor BTC Inc. stated that the event reflects Bitcoin’s growing global role. CEO David Bailey stated that the event shows Bitcoin’s role in modern finance, and Bitcoin Magazine will stream major sessions globally.
On the market front, as of press time, Bitcoin is trading at $109,715 with rising interest ahead of the event. Last year, Bitcoin prices surged 5.2% during the conference week and similar momentum is expected this year too. Also, the current Crypto Fear & Greed Index stands at 69, showing bullish investor sentiment.
