In the coming week, several cryptocurrency networks will release substantial volumes of their native tokens through planned unlock events, per Token Unlocks data. These scheduled releases, known as cliff unlocks, will affect various projects across the Aptos, dYdX, Starknet, Cyber, Aevo, Arbitrum, ApeCoin, ImmutableX, Render, Manta, and Oasis networks. Altogether, these events will collectively inject billions of dollars’ worth of tokens into the market, accounting for varying percentages of each network’s circulating supply.
On May 12, the Aptos network will begin by unlocking 11.31 million APT tokens, valued at approximately $99.75 million. This release will account for 2.64% of the token’s circulating supply. The dYdX network will follow this event with its own scheduled release of 2.12 million DYDX tokens on May 14, worth about $4.58 million. This unlock will represent 0.79% of the token’s circulating supply.
Several notable unlocks will occur on May 15. The Starknet network will release 64 million STRK tokens, valued at $80.64 million. This will account for 8.79% of its circulating supply. The Cyber network will unlock 886.12 CYBER tokens worth $7.34 million, representing 4.13% of its circulating supply. Additionally, Aevo’s network is set for its largest cliff unlock, releasing 827.60 million AEVO tokens valued at an estimated $1.04 billion. This sizable quantity equates to 752.36% of its current circulating supply.
The Arbitrum network will release a significant volume of 92.65 million ARB tokens worth about $96.44 million on May 16. This event will account for 3.49% of the ARB token’s circulating supply.
May 17 will bring further cliff unlock events. The ApeCoin network will release 15.60 million APE tokens worth approximately $19.97 million. This represents 2.48% of the total circulating supply. Meanwhile, the gaming ecosystem ImmutableX will unlock IMX tokens worth around $56.93 million, contributing to 1.75% of its circulating supply. The AI ecosystem Render network will release 760.57K RNDR tokens worth $8.24 million, accounting for 0.20% of the circulating supply.
The weekend will see additional releases. On May 18, the Manta network will release 6.67 million MANTA tokens, worth an estimated $11.40 million and representing 2.66% of its circulating supply. Oasis Network will unlock 171 million ROSE tokens valued at $15.45 million, which will account for 2.54% of the circulating supply.
