Polygon Now Has Over 53,000 Decentralized Apps (dApps) On It

According to the web3 development platform Alchemy Platform, as of the end of September, more than 53,000 decentralized applications have successfully established themselves on Polygon. This indicates that there has been a growth of almost sixty percent since June and an eightfold increase since the beginning of 2022.

Alchemy’s statistics reveal that the number of monthly active decentralized apps (dApps), which is a better estimate of the number of live applications in the ecosystem, increased by 29% since the end of the previous quarter to 17,800. Since the beginning of the year, there has been a fourfold growth.

There was a 27% increase in the total number of monthly active teams, which is the most direct indication of developer engagement on the Polygon PoS chain. This figure is around 13,700.

Sixty-six percent of the projects are going to be built entirely on Polygon, while the other projects will also debut on Ethereum.

The implementation of Polygon on Alchemy was the impetus for a rise in interest in newly developed apps for decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that run on the chain.

More than 2.1 billion transactions have been handled by Polygon PoS up to this point. The company has more than 174.9 million unique user addresses and has secured $5 billion worth of assets.

The Polygon Point of Presence (PoS) acts as a central location for a number of significant Web3 initiatives, such as Aave, Uniswap V3, and OpenSea.

In a related development, KuCoin Wallet, the licensed Web3 wallet of the KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange, has announced an official strategic agreement with Polygon to incorporate further creative Web3 features in the near future, encouraging users to delve deeply into the Web3 ecosystem.
