Robinhood Wallet has officially launched to all iOS users globally, providing support for both the Polygon and Ethereum networks, according to the latest blog post from the company. The waitlist of more than 1 million has been cleared, and users can now download the app from the Apple App store in over 130 countries.
For a limited time, users can earn up to 5 USDC after transferring $10 of crypto from Robinhood Crypto or 1 USDC after transferring $10 from another wallet or exchange.
Robinhood Wallet is a self-custody, Web3 wallet that allows users to own and swap crypto while connecting to a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps).
It combines the intuitive design that users have come to expect from Robinhood with powerful tools that support the next generation of Web3 users. Users have full control over their crypto, meaning only they hold and maintain the private keys to their assets.
GM of Robinhood Crypto, Johann Kerbrat, said that users had given positive feedback about how accessible and easy to use the app is, as well as the ability to self-custody their digital assets and swap with no network fees on Polygon. The support for Ethereum and 50+ ERC tokens was added quickly in response to user requests for access to more coins on more chains.
Robinhood Wallet has undergone several notable changes based on customer feedback since its beta launch in September. It now offers support for NFTs on both Ethereum and Polygon, enabling users to view and store their favorite collections safely. Additionally, users can still swap crypto and tokens with no network fees on Polygon, explore Web3 and DeFi, and connect to their favorite dApps.
