According to a recent announcement, Trust wallet has enabled cross-chain swap integration with the blockchain network THORchain. As a result of the integration, Trust wallet users will be able to swap pairs across different chains, namely BTC, ETH, and Bep 2 tokens, straight from the Trust wallet application.

Furthermore, the swaps also don’t incur fees and completely eliminate the need for the complex and lengthy process of going through fiat on-ramps. However, the feature is only available on Trust wallet’s android application.

With the latest addition, Trust wallet now supports swaps across 1inch, THORChain, and cross swaps across the Binance beacon chain and Binance smart chain.

Constant developments

Prior to this, Trust wallet also announced support for Cardano (ADA) staking. Cardano holders can then stake their tokens with a single tap after the update. However, this wasn’t Trust wallet’s only development in recent months. The Trust Wallet browser extension was released last month in conjunction with Binance Pay and Coinbase Pay. This integration has been highly anticipated by Trust Wallet customers.

The extension also allows users to store, transmit, and receive cryptocurrency across all Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains and Solana. Users also benefit from a network auto-detect function, eliminating the need to add networks manually.

Furthermore, the extension provides multi-wallet support, NFT support, fiat on-ramp providers, non-EVM blockchain interfaces, and hardware wallet compatibility.

Trust wallet token

The developments over the past month have managed to push the price of TWT, Trust wallet’s native token. The token hit a high of $2.6 last week and is currency trading at $2.32 at the time of writing.

With gains of almost 218% this year, the token has outperformed the cryptocurrency market after the FTX crisis, reaching a new all-time high of $2.71 last month.
