President Trump Addresses Top TRUMP Memecoin Holders at Dinner

  • Trump hosted top $TRUMP coin holders at a $148M crypto dinner in Trump National Golf Club.
  • Over half of the dinner guests were foreign investors, raising political influence concerns.
  • Justin Sun led the pack with an $18.5M wallet and won a $100K Trump Tourbillon watch.

Guests from around the world gathered at Trump National Golf Club on Thursday for a crypto-themed black-tie dinner. The event honored top holders of the $TRUMP meme coin, which has gained attention since its January launch.

Marine One touched down at the private club as protesters lined the street with signs reading “America is not for sale.” President Trump later arrived at the ballroom and greeted VIP guests with a speech about crypto innovation. He said, “You want to see people thrive and succeed,” while criticizing the Biden administration’s stance on digital assets.

Crypto billionaire Justin Sun topped the guest list. He won first place with his $18.5 million $TRUMP coin wallet. Sun posted videos of himself entering the venue and visiting the Executive Office Building the day before. He also serves as an adviser to World Liberty Financial, the Trump family’s crypto firm.

According to Inca Digital, guests spent an estimated $148 million on $TRUMP coins to attend the event. The top 25 wallets accounted for $111 million. The four largest investors each received a limited-edition Trump Tourbillon watch valued at $100,000.

Reports show that over half of the 220 attendees were likely foreign-based. Many bought the coin on exchanges that block U.S. customers. According to reports, 19 of the top 25 wallets used foreign platforms. Critics say this raises questions about foreign influence on U.S. politics.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated the dinner was a private event and not held at the White House. She said Trump’s assets are in a blind trust managed by his children.

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Chris Murphy held a press conference hours before the dinner. They called the event corrupt and questioned the secrecy of the guest list. Murphy highlighted a guest known only as “Ogle,” who wears a mask and conceals his identity in public videos.

Meanwhile, smaller $TRUMP coin holders have lost an estimated $3.87 billion, according to Bubblemaps. The dinner ended with an after-party hosted by MemeCore, a Singapore-based company. Its co-founder, Ice, came in second place after spending $16 million on the coin.
