Ripple’s Partner Travelex Collabs With Kayak to Make Travel Experiences Easier

Ripple’s partner, the foreign exchange business Travelex, located in the United Kingdom, has formed a partnership with the online travel agency Kayak, based in the United States, to make the process of trip planning simpler for its consumers.

As a result of the cooperation, clients of Travelex are now able to search for flights, hotels, and rental vehicles directly inside the updated Travelex Money app. This gives them the ability to plan their vacation and manage the finances associated with it in a single location.

The app has been given a fresh design and feel, and it has also been revamped to provide users with a far higher level of control and convenience than in the past, says Travelex.  Because of the collaboration, the maximum amount that may be withdrawn from an ATM is £500 for cards issued in the UK and AUD$3000 for cards issued in Australia, the company says.

Likewise, the company has set the minimum load amount for the United Kingdom at £50 and for its Australian equivalent at $100 AUD. In addition to this, Travelex has done away with its card collecting fees entirely.

Due to the card’s affiliation with Mastercard, customers of Travelex will now have access to Boingo’s wireless hotspots as a result of the collaboration. Users will enjoy a significant increase in convenience thanks to this improved connection when they are traveling.

As the firm continues to work on developing its whole suite of digital goods, the relaunch of the Travelex money app is the next significant milestone in the company’s accelerated digital transformation.

This covers crypto-enabled payments as well as digital remittance solutions, as well as multi-currency prepaid contactless cards, touch-and-go channels, ATM click-and-collect, and touchless channels, says Travelex.
