CZ Seeks to Fund AI Bot That Mimics Users’ Writing Style

- Binance’s CZ proposes an X Agent AI to generate personalized tweet suggestions.
- The project would analyze the user’s past content and mimic their voice and style.
- The two-phase plan starts with tweet creation before expanding to engagement features.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has revealed plans to fund the development of AI-powered social media tools capable of mimicking users’ personal writing styles. In a Sunday announcement shared between meetings with BNB Chain developers, CZ shared his vision for an “X Agent” that would help users maintain their social media presence through automated, personalized content generation.
“My X Agent, an AI bot to mimic oneself for X,” CZ explained in his proposal. The system would operate in multiple phases, with the initial focus on generating tweet suggestions tailored to the user’s established voice and preferences. The AI would accomplish this by analyzing previous posts, writing patterns, engagement metrics, and current events to craft content that maintains authenticity.
The technical implementation would use the X API alongside AI models like DeepSeek or OpenAI’s GPT-4o. According to CZ, the system would improve over time by identifying which tweets perform best and refining its suggestions accordingly.
CZ noted that while he has encountered several projects to build similar tools, none have met the standards. Through YZiLabs, he expressed eagerness to provide funding for a project capable of generating high-quality content.
The proposed roadmap extends beyond simple content creation. Phase two would introduce engagement features, which include the ability to summarize tweets from others, generate customized replies with supportive, opposing, or neutral stances, flag potentially problematic content, and analyze trending moods to time responses effectively. The system would also identify trending tweets worthy of amplification through retweets or quotes.

Future iterations could expand functionality to assist with messaging across multiple platforms, including Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, and Reachme. CZ also mentioned a potential monetization strategy for the service. A free tier would offer five complimentary tweet suggestions, allowing users to evaluate the quality and fit of the AI’s output. A premium “Pro Plan” would provide additional suggestions for 0.015 BNB (approximately $0.10) per suggested tweet.
The proposal comes as AI-powered content generation tools continue to be used across various industries. For high-profile individuals like CZ who maintain active presences across multiple platforms, such tools could help maintain consistent engagement without needing constant personal attention to content creation.
