Uniswap Founder Says Crypto Twitter Is “Exhausting” In Regards to Ether

Replying to a tweet that said in the Ether community, there is a sizable minority of maxis who are on the sidelines yet think it’s OK to tar and feather their fellow members/users, Uniswap founder and CEO Hayden Adams said “Strongly agree, crypto twitter has become increasingly exhausting in this regards.”

The engineer further explained that the fact is that the scope, ambition, and complexity of what Ethereum is attempting to do does not play well with frequent shaming, anger, and purity tests. This is because of the nature of what Ethereum is trying to achieve.

The success that Ethereum has had up to this point has been remarkable, and it has far beyond most of his wildest expectations. As a direct consequence of this, it is now dealing with difficulties that have never been seen before. Adams believes that the Ethereum community has to develop and become more adaptable to these new challenges rather than consuming itself to death.

In his words:

“A lot of this comes from anxieties from early community members about the shifting values and norms of the industry. I am very sympathetic here (and feel it too).”

In a related development, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin is of the opinion that solitary validators who voluntarily want to exclude particular transactions should be allowed to do so in order to prevent the Ethereum community from becoming into a “morality police” force.

Buterin made the remark in response to a poll that was posted on Twitter by latetot.eth. The poll was about a hypothetical situation in which a validator bans a transaction because it doesn’t correspond with the validator’s personal values.
